Managing Content

Once your model is created you can get started with creating content.

Click on the Content menu item 

In this page you will see a list of your Models and a list of the current Content for the chosen Model, which you can then search and filter.

The list will show you several details about your content but mainly the Number, Status, Localization (Language), and API Key.

Click on New to create a new Content Record

Following the layout setup in the Model, Content Record form will show you all the fields you have configured. Here you can populate each field or use the AI button for Text fields to auto generate content for you after providing a prompt. You can then save your record.

Once Saved you will be provided with several options

You can publish your content by clicking Publish which will then show you a Confirm pop-up.

Here you can choose to publish your content immediately by clicking Confirm, or Schedule the publication of your content to a later date by choosing a date/time and clicking Confirm. Note: When a record is published it becomes available to be accessed via the API. Clicking the 3 dots button next to Publish will present you with the options to Retire or Delete your Content Record.

On the right hand side you will see several sections with more details about your Content Record and other actions you can take on your Content Record.

General

This section will show you:

Status – The current state of your Content Record, Draft, Published, or Retired. The API Id

API Id – The unique ID for this Content Record and its translations, this id can be used when making API calls to get this single record.

Version – The current version number of your Content Record. ContentWorkspace supports versioning for all your content records and allows you revert back to previous versions.

Localization

The Localization section shows the current Language of your Content Record and gives you the option to add new Translations to your record. Note: In order to see this section make sure to mark your Model as Localized in its settings.

Clicking on Add Translation will present you with a window to choose any of the 30 languages supported by ContentWorkspace to translate your Content into.

Choosing a language and clicking confirm will create your new translation and automatically translate your content into that language. Once done you will be taken to your new translations where you can see your content has been translated. Under Localization you will now see the other translations of this record, which you can click to navigate between translations..

Versions

In the Versions sections you can view all the previous versions of your content record. As new versions are published and edited a new Version record will be created allowing you to view and revert back to previous versions.

Clicking on Add Description will allow you to name your to more easily identify previous versions of your record

Clicking on View will show you a side by side of your current Content and  the older version.

Clicking on Copy Version will set your current content to the content saved in the older version, allowing you to quickly revert back to older versions of your record.
